How does the verdict work?

You point the camera at the barcode: we look up the product and compare its ingredients with your profile (allergens, additives, thresholds). You get 🟢 I eat it, 🔴 I bin it or ⚪ I don't know it. It is personalised to your profile.

What if the product is not in the database?

You photograph the ingredient list: we read it on your device (the photo never leaves the phone) and give you an answer all the same, even offline.

Can I rely on the verdict for my allergies?

The verdict is an aid, not a guarantee. The data may be incomplete or out of date, and recipes change. Always check the physical label and, in the case of severe allergies, follow your doctor's instructions. See the Terms §6.

What is the "health score"?

An indicative 0–100 score based on the product's nutritional quality and additives. It is informational and does not replace a nutritionist's advice.

Is my data safe?

Yes. The profile (which contains health-related data) is visible only to you, protected by per-user access rules, and processed only to give you the verdict. We do not sell data. Details in the Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my account?

From Profile → Delete account in the app, or by following the procedure at lomangio.com/account-deletion.

What does Premium include?

Advanced rules (nutritional thresholds, traces per allergen, "avoid X") and multiple family profiles. The subscription is managed by Google Play.
